東莞文盛國(guó)際學(xué)校（International School of Dongguan，簡(jiǎn)稱ISD）創(chuàng)辦于2012年。學(xué)校的開辦，旨在提高城市教育水平。校園實(shí)現(xiàn)多媒體教學(xué)， 開設(shè)學(xué)前、小學(xué)、初中以及高中階段教學(xué)課程。ISD憑著嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)?shù)膰?guó)際教育標(biāo)準(zhǔn)執(zhí)行辦學(xué)，于2013年12月12日獲得美國(guó)西部學(xué)校學(xué)院協(xié)會(huì)（WASC - 美國(guó)教育部授權(quán)的權(quán)威認(rèn)證機(jī)構(gòu)）的認(rèn)證。同時(shí)，東莞文盛國(guó)際學(xué)校還非常榮幸地獲得中國(guó)教育部基礎(chǔ)教育課程教材發(fā)展中心（NCCT）的認(rèn)證。
　　師資簡(jiǎn)介
　　ISD現(xiàn)有24名外籍教師，3名中文教師，以及多名中方助教。其外籍教師全部經(jīng)由ISS美國(guó)總部嚴(yán)格審查后招聘錄用，確保教師隊(duì)伍素質(zhì)可靠。學(xué)校的外籍教師均來(lái)自美國(guó)、加拿大等英語(yǔ)為母語(yǔ)的國(guó)家，具備本科以上學(xué)歷，80%以上具有碩士以上學(xué)歷，并持有相關(guān)的教師資格證書及擁有多年的海外教學(xué)經(jīng)驗(yàn)。由外籍教師和中方助教組成的教學(xué)團(tuán)隊(duì)與ISS教學(xué)管理集團(tuán)的教學(xué)顧問(wèn)攜手，共同打造出吸引學(xué)生的教學(xué)課程和授課模式，優(yōu)質(zhì)的師資為學(xué)校的發(fā)展和學(xué)生的發(fā)展提供了堅(jiān)實(shí)的保障。

　　學(xué)習(xí)設(shè)施
　　學(xué)校位于東莞市南城區(qū)，交通便利，學(xué)校占地面積約30,000平方米，建筑面積達(dá)12,000平方米。設(shè)置有學(xué)前、小學(xué)、初中以及高中階段的教學(xué)課程，實(shí)施小班制授課。[2] ISD擁有名師設(shè)計(jì)的“蜂巢式”六角形教學(xué)大樓、人工植草足球場(chǎng)、室內(nèi)體育中心、玻璃天頂采光圖書館等多個(gè)不同功能的教學(xué)場(chǎng)地，以及兒童玩樂中心及咖啡吧等休閑場(chǎng)所。校園園區(qū)網(wǎng)絡(luò)全覆蓋，實(shí)現(xiàn)移動(dòng)多媒體教學(xué)。目前學(xué)校提供學(xué)前、小學(xué)、初中以及高中階段的教學(xué)課程，實(shí)施小班制全外教授課，課程與國(guó)際接軌，為培養(yǎng)21世紀(jì)高素質(zhì)、高層次的國(guó)際型人才作努力。

　　開設(shè)課程：IBDP課程
　　The International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP) is a rigorous academic program for grade 11 and 12 students, preparing these students for college and university as well as providing avenues for them to make an impact on the community and the wider world. As stated in the IBO’s mission statement “The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.”

　　國(guó)際文憑課程（IBDP）是11年級(jí)和12年級(jí)學(xué)生的嚴(yán)格學(xué)術(shù)課程，為學(xué)院和大學(xué)準(zhǔn)備這些學(xué)生，并為社區(qū)和更廣泛的世界提供途徑。如IBO的任務(wù)說(shuō)明所述：“國(guó)際文憑課程旨在培養(yǎng)具有吸引力，知識(shí)淵博和關(guān)愛青年人，通過(guò)跨文化理解和尊重，幫助創(chuàng)造更美好，更和平的世界。”

　　While enrolled in the IBDP, students are required to undertake a study on the Theory of Knowledge (TOK), participate and take the lead in Creativity, Action, Service (CAS) activities and undertake a college level research paper denoted as the Extended Essay (EE) – these three components make up the Core of the IBDP. Full IBDP students will also have six courses, three at higher level (HL) and 3 at standard level (SL). These courses include the study of two languages, one humanities course, one science course and one mathematics course.

　　在IBDP入學(xué)的同時(shí)，要求學(xué)生進(jìn)行知識(shí)理論（TOK）的學(xué)習(xí)，參與并引導(dǎo)創(chuàng)意，行動(dòng)，服務(wù)（CAS）活動(dòng)，并承擔(dān)大學(xué)階段的研究論文EE） - 這三個(gè)組成部分組成了IBDP的核心。完整的IBDP學(xué)生也將有六門課程，三門課程（HL）和三門課程（SL）。這些課程包括兩種語(yǔ)言的學(xué)習(xí)，一門人文課程，一門科學(xué)課程和一門數(shù)學(xué)課程。

　　In March 2015, the International School of Dongguan was authorized by the IBO as an IB World School, offering the IB Diploma Program from August 2015 onward. With the support of our faculty, administration and our IB consultants, ISD has developed policies and procedures that will provide a solid foundation for our first cohorts of the IBDP program.

　　2015年3月，東莞國(guó)際學(xué)校獲IBO授權(quán)為國(guó)際文憑世界學(xué)校，從2015年8月起提供IB文憑課程。在我們的教師，行政部門和IB顧問(wèn)的支持下，ISD制定了政策和程序，為我們的第一批IBDP計(jì)劃提供堅(jiān)實(shí)的基礎(chǔ)。
